Coffee Washstations

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do
Wash Stations

Gisagara CWS

In the begining, The company started trading with a rented coffee wash station – producing only one container of green coffees and later acquired its first coffee washing station in 2020 located in Gisagara District at an average of 1,500 meters above sea level. This is where our farmers selectively handpick cherry and deliver it to our station. At intake, trained employees visually sort and then sort cherry to remove any damaged or over- and underripe cherry. Cherry is laid on drying beds and raked frequently to ensure even drying.
The company has constructed and maintain access roads to all communities where our coffee wash stations operate. It has also started a social project of vegetable growing which will improve nutrition to our farmer’s families and is also targeted to improve their home stead incomes.
